About us

Chicago’s Commercial Moving and Logistics Company

Corporate Move Solutions is a Chicago commercial moving, warehousing, delivery, installation and liquidation provider for businesses, not households. We store, stage and deliver from our own warehouse at ( SF), and serve Chicago, the suburbs and the Midwest. We grew out of the moving experience of our sister company, Bernard Movers.

We follow a proven, documented operating procedure on every project. Our warehouse staff work with a designated project manager so every shipment is inspected on receipt and entered into our inventory management system. Our installation crews work with the on-site project manager and lead installers to deliver every project on time and on budget.

What Does a Commercial Moving and Logistics Company Do?

A commercial moving and logistics company plans and carries out the relocation of a business, and receives, stores, delivers and installs the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for new and renovated buildings. Corporate Move Solutions handles the full chain from the first walkthrough to the finished room under one project manager.

In hospitality, this covers the movable items that furnish a space: guest room case goods, beds, lounge and restaurant seating, lighting, artwork, mirrors and window treatments. In offices it means workstations, conference and collaboration furniture.

How Does Our Installation Process Work?

  3. Receive and inspectEach delivery is counted, inspected, logged and photographed.
  4. Store and trackProduct is tracked by project, floor, room type and SKU.
  5. Sequence deliveriesProduct goes to site in phases that match the turnover of finished floors.
  6. Install to specTrained crews assemble, place and protect every item.
  7. Walkthrough and punch listWe walk each space with you and deliver a close-out report with photos.
Hotels

How Long Does a Hotel Furniture Installation Take?

A hotel furniture installation takes from a few days for a small renovation to several weeks for a full new build. Timing depends on key count, room types, assembly and site readiness. We size crews to your schedule and can install floor by floor as the general contractor turns spaces over.

For hotels that stay open during renovation, we work in blocks of out-of-order rooms, use service elevators, follow quiet hours and keep guest corridors clear.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do commercial movers do?

Commercial movers plan and carry out the relocation of a business: furniture, workstations, files, IT equipment and specialty items. We also coordinate building access, vendors and schedules, then install, set up and clean the new space.

Can you receive and store furniture before the site is ready?

Yes. Vendors ship to our warehouse, where we inspect, log and store every item until your site is ready. We then deliver in phases that match the construction schedule.

Do you install furniture in hotels that stay open during renovation?

Yes. We work in blocks of out-of-order rooms, use service elevators, follow quiet hours and keep guest corridors clear. We can also remove the old furniture first.

What happens if furniture arrives damaged?

Every shipment is inspected on receipt, so any damage is caught and reported to you and the purchasing agent before it delays your install.

Do you work directly with purchasing agents and designers?

Yes. We receive against the purchasing agent’s PO log, report discrepancies and install to the designer’s floor plans and elevations.

Can you move our office after hours?

Yes. We handle office relocations in Chicago and the suburbs, usually after hours or over a weekend so your team loses little or no work time.

Do you work outside Chicago?

Yes. We install and move across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and other Midwest states. Crew travel is included in the quote when needed.
